WONDERCON!!!

Wondercon is upon us once more. I’ve always heard it is a good show but I’ve never had the chance to go. Every year I watch from the internet sidelines and marvel at the wonderful guest list. This year it is no different.

As usual the show has super stars attending. People like Cliff Chiang, Katie Cook (AA-161!!!) , Kelly Sue DeConnick, Steve Lieber, Marjorie Liu, Francis Manapul, Joshua Hale Fialkov, Yanick Paquette and Mark Waid.

I would love to meet any of these fine talented folks and gab for hours (probably making a fool of myself in the process). There are also the rising stars that you may have not heard of yet and these are the fine folks I would like to spot light.

In no particular order:

D.J. Kirkbride is a sweet guy and he writes a few things now and then. If you do stop by and say tell him I sent you.

Albert the Alien artist Gabriel "Gabo" Bautista JR will be at Table 713! RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO SKYBOUND! Aside from Albert The Alien Gabo has worked on Elephantmen for Image Comics.

Honestly I could not be more excited for this next entry:

Nilah Magruder runs and amazing comic MFK that is so gorgeous and full of adventure. Please let her know I sent you here!

Nilah will be sharing her table with Paige One Comics at Artist Alley, AA-222.

And finally Greg Hinkle can be found “Most likely at the Hilton bar. If people find me, I’ll do a sketch.”

Good luck and have yourself a safe and fun Wondercon!

My First Comic: THERE

Hello!

So I’ve been slowly working on a few projects but the first one out of the gate, as it were, is THERE by Claire Connelly and yours truly.

You can see most of Claire’s lovely work at:
http://claireconnellycomics.com/

It is sparse, unforgiving and beautiful art work. Claire was generous enough to give me some of her time and THERE is now very real and oh so gorgeous.

Here is the Cover:

I have a few physical copies but you can check out the comic right now on Gumroad for $0.99: https://gum.co/ALbr

Thank you so much for your support and I can’t wait to get more work out there.

The Outlaws - 16 pairs of custom shoes commissioned as christmas presents for the client’s family. Each pair is one of a kind and was hand painted on Vans black slip-ons.

Re-upping these shoes I did last December. Still wicked proud of these.

Cover to my first full length color book.

It’s the story set in a future super society in eastern Europe and the forest outside the city. The story is based around eastern Europe folk lore but with my own personal twist. These are the first few pages. The beginning of the story is more graphic but then the story becomes more watercolor-ery…If thats a word.

I’m not sure how long this story is going to take me considering it will be in color.
